Kansas state Rep. Steve Alford (R – Old Whitepeople) is not a fan of the devil weed Marihuana, and at a legislative meet-n-greet Saturday in Garden City, he offered some historical context and scientific reasoning to explain why he opposes legalization of Satan Cigarettes: Black people’s “genetics” just makes them susceptible to all sorts of crime when they smoke the stuff. Alford later “apologized” for the comments after they made national news. Zach Worf, the head of the Finney County Democrats, had suggested that legalization could be a financial boon for Kansas, which has been in a budget crisis since Gov. Sam Brownback slashed taxes and miraculous economic growth failed to result. Kansas does not currently allow even medical marijuana, let alone recreational use. Alford urged the young whippersnapper to consider the lessons of history, and of pseudoscience, too[.]
In the Radical Librul Left’s efforts to spread the Good News about marijuana- which cures EVERYTHING from bone cancer to obesity to depression to Conservatism- one brave man is willing to stand up and put an end to the madness. Rep. Steve Alford KNOWS The Truth Which Dare Not Be Spoken ©: the Devil’s Weed is destroying African-Americans at an alarming rate. No one else will say it; he just did.
‘Course, despite the fact there’s no evidence to support his argument, Rep. Alford is determined to save The Blacks © from their self-destructive tendencies. It’s not something good people generally discuss in polite company. Even so, anyone willing to traffic in the truth KNOWS in their heart of hearts that the “genetics” of The Blacks © places them at greater risk. Hey, it’s SCIENCE!! Or at least a reasonable approximation thereof.
Alford first argued the smell of marijuana smoke wafting from public smoking or people getting potted up on weed in cars would take away his “freedom” to enjoy clean air, but Worf noted that Colorado bans public smoking just like with tobacco. Then Alford got all sciencey, noting that in the medical opinion of his wife, a magistrate judge, “Basically any way you say it, marijuana is an entry drug into the higher drugs.” And who better to offer a scientific opinion than a judge? Except maybe actual scientific studies, which tend not to support that claim.
Still, Alford does respect scientific evidence, at least if it was scientific evidence drummed up by race-baiters of the 1930s.
Alford’s done his due diligence (into theories advances by racists from the early 20th century)…and his research has led him to one firm conclusion:
Drugs are bad, mmmkay??
What you really need to do is go back in the ’30s, when they outlawed all types of drugs in Kansas [and] across the United States. What was the reason why they did that?
One of the reasons why — I hate to say it — it’s that, the African Americans, they were basically users and they basically responded the worst off to those drugs just because of their character makeup, their genetics and that. And so basically what we’re trying to do is, we’re trying to do a complete reverse with people not remembering what has happened in the past. So, basically, I’m against marijuana, all the way through, too.
Yep, just as The Blacks © don’t make good swimmers because their genetic makeup makes it difficult for them to float, they’re also genetically predisposed to things like uninhibited sex and jazz music.
Oh, the humanity….
Rep. Alford isn’t breaking new ground here, just reaffirming the breakthrough scientific research undertaken by brave patriots like Harry J. Anslinger, the first head of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics:
There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the U.S., and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz and swing result from marijuana use. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers and any others.
‘Course, it’s entirely possible Anslinger never actually said that. For our purposes, though, we’re going to run with it…’cuz we certainly don’t want our women chasing sexual relations with The Blacks ©, do we?
It’s almost hard to believe that someone actually thinks like this in the 21st century. I say “almost” because here we are in Year One A.T. (After Trump), and it appears bigotry and hatred have become the coin of the realm. There are more than a few card-carrying members of the American Taliban willing to believe anything which paints the master race (theirs) in a favorable light and denigrates non-Whites.
Why base an argument on facts…when you don’t have any? If you’re not one to let trivialities like “facts” or “data” stand in the way of making an argument based on your gut, Rep. Alford’s your kinda (White) guy.
Just don’t expect him to go out with you in search of uninhibited sex and jazz music.
